The menu at The Royston
looks a lot like traditional pub grub menus. But wait ‘til you
taste the food. This is good quality food, in good size servings,
and the price is right – so it’s great value-for-money.
EAT IN THE FRONT BAR OR
DINING ROOM
Our
chef, Rob Clark, is an exceptional chef. He does “pub grub” better
than most, and if you look at the "Pub Classics" in the menu you'll
get the idea. But all of Rob's food reflects his years of
experience, training and attention to detail come to the fore. The
result is a reminder of how good pub food can be.
You may choose to eat this great pub food at terrific prices in the
Royston front bar, but there are plenty of good reasons to eat in
the Royston Dining Room:
- It is usually a touch quieter (and maybe even a bit more
romantic) than the front bar
- We wait on you and even let you use a cloth napkin, while the
kids in the front bar are making do with paper!
- The décor succeeds in making it a very cosy dining room. Casual
but classy – perfect for those special occasions, or for when you
want a touch of formality but not enough to weigh you down.

SPECIALS
In addition to the main
menu, there is a specials menu which usually includes a soup, fish,
pasta and curry of the day plus some "special specials"! Well worth
a regular visit to the Royston just to see what new delights Chef
Rob has come up with.
