| We now have a few imitators, but the Royston was the first pub in Melbourne to feature an amazing range of microbrewery beers!! Right from opening day in 2005, we've devoted 9 of our 10 taps to a rotating line up of the best beers that Australia's micro-brewers are producing. We were also the first to add a hand-pump... Great beers from Mountain Goat, Hargreaves Hill, Little Creatures, Holgate, 3 Ravens and Red Hill Brewery have been on our taps right from the start More recently, 2 Brothers, Moo Brew, Stone & Wood, Coldstream Brewery, Bridge Road Brewers, Bright Brewery, Murrays Craft Brewers, and many more have graced the delightful front bar at the Royston. The beers on tap change constantly, as we strive to provide the most exciting range possible. And of course, we are often the first to have new beers on tap, when a brewery makes a new brew or when they are experimenting and want feedback from discerning beer drinkers.
